Uncle Grandpa Posted June 24, 2014 Share Posted June 24, 2014 so apparently FIFA doesnt like the little fan shout "eeeeh puto!!!" while the conrtincant's goalkeeper kicks the ball from the mexican fans at the world cup, in this case puto have two meanings: gay and wimp. but of course we dont mean it in the homosexual way but the wimp, otherwise we could say "marica" or "joto" etc. and this shout have been in almost all mexican games, not only at soccer but baseball or football. yeah it may be offensive if you want it to be, but this is not the case. Now FIFA wants sanction mexico for it, which is (imo) inmature or anti-fanatic from their part. what are your opinions about this? i personally think FIFA shouldnt do nothing, if things get worse maybe sanction mexico with something, idk. but not get them out of the world cup.
