Anhor
Hi Someone just lied to me about offers he/she got in his/her hat to get me into making a deal. http://i.imgur.com/fDtYRYn.png http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20624622 (thread is up for 2 hours) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20585250 (thread was up 11 hours ago) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20520648 (thread was up 1 day ago) Is this a legit reason to give him a negative trust rating? Sorry if I posted in the wrong subforum. Wasn't sure where to put it. Edit: Fixed links
d0 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Tons of people who claim they got higher offers and sometimes say in previous sales it was sold for "x pure" when it actually sold for less or other stuff. It's BM for sure, but personally I would just block people who lie and use fake offers/sales in trading & remove them.
Slocumruls
Feel free to post your negative trust with a proper reason on the guy's trust page and provide the screenshot. not too many people care though.
Pwndaz!
Feel free to post your negative trust with a proper reason on the guy's trust page and provide the screenshot. not too many people care though. Yeah. That's the problem. There's really no downside to terrible rep or upside to amazing rep.
Anhor
Well...there sure is a downside for a false claim. I would rather not face consequence for doing that. That's why I asked.
☾Link✞Skorpion☽
Yeah. That's the problem. There's really no downside to terrible rep or upside to amazing rep. Me: If you liked my trade, please +rep me. "Experienced" Trader: What's +rep? or "Experienced" Trader: How do I know I can trust you not to scam me? Me: You can ask the people in my friend list. Most of them have traded with me. They can tell you I have good rep. "Experienced" Trader: So? Some guy had been marked as scammer and I still got a good, fair, deal from him. It really doesn't matter. Either people don't know what SteamRep is or they just don't care as long as they're the slightest bit suspicious about your trade. And if you're trading me an extremely valuable item, of course you're going to be so paranoid as to call everyone looking to buy it off you a scammer.
