NinStarRune
I'm going to go ahead and assume we all have a couple rows of keys in our backpacks. Isn't it kind of annoying to have to have them taking up your precious item slots? Introducing the Mann Co. Keychain! An all-class misc. that also doubles as a place to store all those pesky keys in your backpack. Simply click on the Mann Co. Keychain's "USE" option in your inventory. Here you have an option to add or remove keys to it. No matter how many or which keys you add to it, there's always enough room on your keychain. And if you want to remove a key, say, to unlock a crate or to trade with, you can do that with no hassle at all! Much like The Spirit of Giving, the Mann Co. Keychain levels up with each key attached to it. 0 - The Mann Co. Keychain 1 - The Very Vacant Mann Co. Keychain 5 - The Slightly Stocked Mann Co. Keychain 10 - The Jingly Mann Co. Keychain 25 - The Jingly-Jangly Mann Co. Keychain 50 - The Crate-Melting Mann Co. Keychain 100 - Mann Co.'s Own Mann Co. Keychain And, much like the Fancy Spellbook, it also counts how many and what type of keys are on your keychain! Thoughts?
knavesmith
So, it de-levels when you remove keys? Also, if you added an untradable key, wouldn't it make all of the keys currently on there untradable?
Faceman™
No, I'd rather have lots of shiny golden keys take up my precious space
Grimes
Actually a good idea imo. Would look pretty cool.

NinStarRune
Yes, de-levels and relevels upon removing and readding keys. Nontradeable keys could potentially have their own slot (# of Untradable ___ Keys: #). Furthermore, the model would change to have more keys on it as its level increases. Baloo
It'd never happen. There's not a single thing in TF2 that stacks in your inventory, and stack metal would be highly more practical. Especially since if you sell your keys you'd get 8.5x more items

Unless that's not what you meant by "stack[ing] in your inventory."
Rambro
I actually like this idea, would make mass key trading easier, not to mention looking cool. I like it.

Isn't it kind of annoying to have to have them taking up your precious item slots? You have 1 key. A single, lonely key in your backpack. P.S.: Also you don't have a http://bazaar.tf or http://tf2outpost.com accounts...how do you trade for key profit? (Sorry about this part being a bit abstract)
Curly Brace
Fancy Spellbook? It counts how many of specific pages you've added. Unless that's not what you meant by "stack[ing] in your inventory." It counts your inputs, but you aren't ever able to make an output from it So assume you just throw keys on the keychain, but can never retrieve them. scout608
nah, then you wouldn't need backpack expanders so it wouldn't happen
Scott Bakula
Rather than leveling on how many keys you have in it, it should level by how many crates you've opened and also track how many unusuals you've unboxed.
