Yes It Was Very Beneficial For The United States But Not Much For Japan

Which Explains Why They're An Isolated Country

The only thing that is not open to debate here is the devastating results of the nuclear bomb. Science has moved so far along that the bombs dropped in WW2 look like firecrackers in comparison. Was it the right thing to do? Maybe. Was it moral ? No. It was at the time and given the way it's been written, the Japanese were trained to fight to the he last woman and child. How true that is , as an American raised in America and sent to American public school, I don't know.. history is written by the victor.

As for your pool, my answer is not applicable. They sought a way to end a war that engulf the world in chaos. Not just one continent but all of them. There was veryfew unaffected by it. If the war had continued by troops rather than on each display of the massive might of the Allied Forces, it could have turned even more nasty. For all we know, eve though it also gave Russia the agility to make them droping hose bombs showed the USSR what would happen if they openly crossed the united states. Do not poke the sleeping bear. Do not provoke it either for you will or like the results.

The US almost single-handedly funded the Japanese economy during the post-WW2 and Korean War eras. Japan was also forcefully re-openede to foreigners by the US in the first place, essentially trading guns for money/goods.
