If they treat Summer effects like Halloween, and made it themed + limited unbox, the world would be a better place. Ideally though, they wouldn't do any new ones til Halloween, and give us some amazing ones for that event. I'll take great Halloween effects if that meant no new effects released elsewhere. But I believe the odds of 4th gen coming out in 2014 are slimmer than 4th gen being released in 2015. That seems to be the schedule. Then again, Valve released three new waves of effects (3rd gen, robo and halloween) in 2013 so we'll probably see something on top of the 2014 halloween effects which are sure to come.
