Why are the prices for Mk.1 Silver Botkillers so off?

So, I am buying these Botkillers, and I noticed nobody is selling at the suggested price.

Why is this? Are they that undesireable?

Links of people who sell it for more:

You get the idea.

Why are they so much more expensive?

Supply < Demand. People love botkillers for those dingly heads, I dunno why. People started playing the new MvM map which then lessened the amount of botkillers received from the other tours, so there's less on the market.

Carbonado Botkillers have had a recent rise in price :D These probably need an update too

The backpack prices don´t reflect the value, selling Silver mk 1 sniper, scattergun and rocket launcher for about a key is fairly easy. Also people that are earning botkillers are mostly keeping them due to having spent tickets and time.

Yes, but I was just wondering why people haven't changed the prices for the Botkillers to the changed price. I mean, when people are actually selling them, why can't we go to backpack and check the suggested value?

Anyway, you're right. That is a valid point, and so are the other answers. Marking it solved now :D

As NecroTed said, Demand>Supply.  Not only are botkillers relatively popular, their numbers, or at least the rate at which new ones are introduced to the market, are dwindling.  With each successive MvM update, with the Two Cities being the most important in this case, fewer and fewer players are earning botkiller weapons.  Most players had far more interest in Australiums and killstreakers (until crate 83), and even now it still seems more popular.

You also have to remember it costs to play mvm, with each ticket around 3.33 ref each.  Some tours are more profitable than others, so many of the serious MvM players ignore certain tours.  This is particularly true for the original Steel Trap and later Mecha Engine tours, which yield the silver and gold MKI and II botkillers.  Therefore, the influx of new items that keeps that market stable and active has been dwindling.

The final nail in the coffin is Chem Sets.  When the first chem sets were introduced, there was a lot of hype.  Many of these sets demanded botkiller weapons as well.  The sets that required cheaper ones, such as rust, silver, and carbonado, were more often completed than the ones that demanded gold, blood, and diamond (although some of those were done as well).  This means that many of the lower priced botkillers were consumed and removed from the market.

That is essentially why botkillers in general, and lower tier botkillers in specific are rising in price.  It's difficult to update the price because there are so few of these that are selling consistently.  It seems like half of them have parts of are killstreaked anymore anyways.
