ninjaspy2142
I was scammed by these guys: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197960511715/ http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197975180322 They used a fake opskins bot to take my 2 unusuals. It was my fault for falling for it. Is there anything I can do? They were a Burning Flames Salty Dog and a Nebula Universal Translator.
ѕιи
Seeing as they're impersonators they're probably marked already sooooooo Start over I guess
Scott Bakula
Both accounts were already marked on steamrep and banned from here and other sites. So, not much can be done besides learning from your mistakes and moving on. The biggest lesson here is verify, verify, verify. When dealing with large items a quick check of the profile for their rep (never rep listed in their steam profile comments though) should be second nature to a person. Also, private inventories and profiles are massive red flags as they prevent you from verifying that the person even plays tf2, has the items offered, or being able to check the history of said items. What I did was start a troll steam group which spams scammers profiles' whenever we encounter one(when one of them adds us). It made me feel better doing it , but other than that I suggest starting over with whatever you have left.

If you're falling for the most common scam, maybe you didn't deserve those hats.
Swagman!
Just take a lesson learned, put some money back into the game and trade up, just don't let this slow you down.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do because they're already marked, but at least you learned such important lesson. Be more aware of these since it's very easy to get scammed, so I wish you the best good luck on your new journey. I believe everyone also got scammed, so we had to move on and, well, try again on getting what we've lost just like the same way we got these items. Okay? Move on! WaTTs
It's very aggravating to say the least seeing a topic about "i was scammed" every once in awhile. You had a Burning Flames Salty Dog and Nebula Universal Translator, but not the common sense to check the persons backpack and see that they aren't actually a Op skins bot? Who's inventories usually contains thousands of items? Why should i feel bad for you when you are irresponsible with items worth $1000+
