How does jesse's trading bot works?

I mean, it checks the offers when the bot hearbeats backpack.tf? and if so, how do i increase the hearbeat? 5 minutes is too much.

if you are talking about automatic, first of all its not supported by devs anymore. 

And no, it doesnt check for offers when it sends a heartbeat, it just always checking. 

And no, you cannot increase/decrease heartbeat time.

You can edit the cooldown manually. The cooldown of the actual API is supposed to be 90 seconds (which it's not *cough* fisk pls *cough cough*). 

 

From the source code of automatic the pollInterval is 10.5 seconds. I'm not sure why they didn't use the steam integration feature of node TradeOfferManager, which allows you to check for offers instantly through steam notifications and other libraries. 

 

Also on a side note I don't know how broken automatic is anymore because I use my own code for bots, the glitch with australiums could still be there.
