Too Much Time

Fenrir

I copied angel's style, I'm gonna put some poems on here.

At the root of insanity

Is having too much time on your hands--

Too much time to think--

Too much time to remember past hurts

And to wish things could be different.

Too much time spent alone,

Staring at these four walls

With too much time to think,

To remember past hurts

And to wish things were different.

Got to rid myself of this insanity.

I'll busy myself with a flurry of activities

And seek the companionship of others.

They´ll tell me time heals all wounds,

But for now I'll still cry--

When I have too much time to think

And remember past hurts,

Wishing things are different.

Well, in this case, you're talking about insanity requiring 2 things, a past event worthy of tears, and either too many or too little time. If including too little time into the equation, you require your title to be changed, as your poem is not only about too much time, it is also about having too little.

I would talk about your run-on sentences but I'll leave that to Angie.

Since alfie decided to let me comment on it about your run on sentences,

there are none because this is poetry, and every stanza is a separate thought whether it is separated by a comma, period, or neither. Get it right, alfie.
