JayTuut
#callawesome But man, building a PC isnt hard and definetley worth it, you should try it, it would only take an hour or so when you get all ur shit. (to put everything in, not including setting up OS) But i guess it's up to you if u want a prebuild one

MrDeepDarkmind
Specifically what cod or Open world games? can probably help just need the game information but if you are going for the latest new games and want a pc for that, just letting you know your backpack isn't high enough for a PC that's built for you
Twins_Mercury
Prebuilt or build myself is fine, but I'd be paying someone to build it for me either way It's not building yourself if you don't build it yourself. Unless you pay yourself to build it yourself. Seriously though wait a bit for AMD because their value for money is going to be killer.

MrDeepDarkmind
500-1000$ if built by yourself while prebuilt can be around 600, 700-1500$ other tips if you prefer water cooling then eh your choice, kinda don't prefer it. but AMD does have cheap GPUs for a pc to be built for Black ops 3 and etc

Twins_Mercury
I dont get this, whats happening with AMD? :c If you somehow haven't already heard they're releasing a completely new series of processors that looks to give Intel a run for its money. Four cores for as little as $130 on the low end, i7 competitors for the price of i5s, and other bigger stuff higher up on the ladder. Nade
If you're looking for decent pre-builds, I'd check out ibuypower's site. They're a little pricey but all of the cases are custom built with decent specs. If you go a little higher in the spectrum you can pick up one of their nifty LCD side panel cases. Seriously though, check it out. It's awesome.

AwesomeMcCoolName
anything other then CPUS? Vega (AMD's high end GPUs) are rumored to be launching around the summer.
Nade
Well from what the reviewers are saying Ryzen 7 is a little underwhelming in the gaming department. But still a great value for the money, nonetheless
AwesomeMcCoolName
Well from what the reviewers are saying Ryzen 7 is a little underwhelming in the gaming department. But still a great value for the money, nonetheless Anyone who thought Ryzen was going to be at the top in terms of gaming hasn't been paying attention to anything going on for months. It was known that the IPC was 5-10% behind Skylake/Kaby Lake, and it's also known that an 8c/16t CPU is highly unlikely to clock as well as a 4c/8t CPU. So anyone who has been paying attention should have been under the assumption that Skylake/Kaby Lake (6700k/7700k) would be 15-20% faster in single threaded tasks than any of the R7s CPUs. How much of a difference that percentage makes will depend entirely on the game as there isn't a linear scaling between CPU performance and gaming performance, and how/if developers better optimize for multithreaded workloads (although, it's still important to realize that at the end of the day, some tasks can only be parallelized so much, AND that higher resolutions are less CPU bound). At the end of the day, the 6700k/7700k is still better for gaming than a 1700/1700x/1800x, but that should have always been the assumption -- the reason to wait for the R7 to launch is to see how Intel responds. The X99 platform will likely see price cuts as they're directly competing with AMD right now (6900k ~ 1800x, possibly 1700/1700x depending on how the latter two overclock, and dropping the price on the 6900k will likely force a price drop on the 6850k/6800k). The ?170 and ?270 platforms are another story and we'll have to wait and see how Intel responds, but I'd expect some price cuts as at $330, I'd personally take the single threaded (and gaming performance) hit if it meant getting an 8c/16t cpu over a 4c/8t cpu -- that of course is dependent on the 1700 being able to overclock well (4.2ghz~), which could very well not be the case. Only time will tell. Nade

AwesomeMcCoolName
AMD themselves claim the Ryzen 7 IPC is 6% less than Kaby Lake IPC 6%~ behind Skylake/Kaby Lake with clockspeeds that are >10% lower leads to a 15-20% single threaded performance delta. Also, first-party benchmarks/statistics should always be taken with a massive grain of salt.
