ThePickleCat
I know my computer can handle gta just fine. But recently when I have tried loading gta, it does this thing where once it gets past the Game Mode selection menu and is loading (whether its online or story) the music starts skipping out, and when i shift tab to go into steam, typing is like impossible. Its like GTA is having a poor load when i boot it, when i type in steam it jumps at the same rate as the music, ill type, itll freeze, then itll print everything i typed and the music will jump again, and so on. When I am patient enough to wait for it to fully load (lol as if gta doesnt take long enough to load w/o issues) the gameplay is literally like 1 fps, it just jumps at the same rate that steam and the music do. EVEN IN SAFE MODE HALP PLEASE I LITERALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Even if you dont have an answer, my problem is so elaborate im not sure what I should google search, if you can help with that it would be greatly appreciated. My computer specs are: i7-4790K 16 gb ram GTX 970 I reinstalled gta today, didnt work, my nvidia drivers are up to date, computers drivers are mostly up to date.. so yea p.s. I do not have this issue on any other games. EDIT: I used to play GTAV fine on here, then one day the issue started happening, and since then i get the issue periodically but it usually goes away, just not this time....its been like a month. SVENNEN123
Tried to update the game files? If so, RIP.
ThePickleCat
I have now verified the game cache as well. I tried removing my windowed borderless launch options I tried disabling the Steam UI in game. None of these work, it seems the problem is gta? I can't imagine it's my hardware?
