Fights/Arguments with Friends

Have you ever had a memorable fight or argument with one of your [best] friends, whether physical or verbally?

When i was around 10 years old, I remember being kinda "mean" with a few of my friends when we played video games. I used to hit one of my friends on the head with the controller when i got mad during a game. I did not hit him hard but i did still hit him. I was probably more than a bit rude but I don't remember much.

I used to fight with one of my best friends kind of more than I wish I had. I remember the time when he jumped on my back and made it a little hard to breathe for me, I remember the time I pushed him to window and caused the window to shatter. They were interesting things to remember, even though they are not the best of memories, they are still worth remembering. Looking back, you sort of get to laugh at how dumb you were and inane the argument was about.

Fights are kind of what can make friends stick together some times, even if they do cause people to split ways. If you really are friends, you would know that you two can look past it to continue to be friends.

If I could go to the past however, I would like to stop myself from being such a bitch sometimes. I don't think i really changed my behavior until I was around 13/14, where I started being more calm and private.

I like to think about how nice it would be to be young again but then again, I would probably hate it. I love my friends, even though we get older and it gets much more difficult to see each other, I would give up a lot to be with them and just play games together.

I was very agressive when I was younger, always trying to pick fights at high school and treating my friends like shit. I remember being mad all the time. There was a guy I was always getting in fights with, I hated him and he hated me. I would do things like stealing his homework and throwing it to the bin, breaking his books, harassing him at the street or online, and he would do the same. I don't know how or what happened that we ended being best friends. I've known him for nine years now and we still are very close. People laugh they ass off when we tell how we met.

At camp once I beat a kid to tears with a ZipLoc bag of Cheetos

This is the best thing Ive heard all week, Im crying rn

But on topic, my friend and I always get at each other because Im conservative and he's very liberal. It never lasts because we all get over ourselves and we're adults so we can handle it. But it gets ugly sometimes lol.

Overheard one of my friends and the "dumb bitch" of the class arguing which one is the closest star. Can't remember who said what but when I said it's the sun they looked at me like I'm some maniac. Needless to say we're not friends anymore.

I have a passive personality, so I don't like to pick up fights from anywhere else

And no, my friends that I know had never pissed me off (yet)

When I was 9, my friend had been getting irritated at me for not being able to run as well as them (my asthma was pretty bad when I was young). I got pretty mad that I was being treated like that by a friend for something I had no control over. We had a bit of a grab at each other but our parents stepped in and did the whole "apologise or you're getting in trouble" shit, but it worked. Even though I changed schools the next year, we kept in touch through emails and still talk on steam daily and play TF2 (they were who introduced me to it). This friendship's been for nearly 10 years and while it was petty, that fight probably did more good than anything else in the end.

When I was 14, my best friend and I got in a vicious physical fight that escalated from an accidental whip on the arm with a belt to throwing chairs and shit. No idea how it happened really. After around ten minutes of this, we were getting so violent that I knew if it went on one of us could get hurt, so I fled my house and took him with me, then ran back in and locked the door. He tried to bust my door down by tackling it a few times, but only succeeded in hurting himself.

I didn't see him for like six months after that. Now we hang out again like usual, this is just a fond memory XD

When I was in the 6th grade, one of my closest friends and I got into a long and huge fight because me and his girlfriend have conflicting views and personalities. First, it started off as digital. We used to post our mean thoughts about each other in this old social media website I forgot about. Then it went to verbal where we couldn't even be in the same room with each other without it turning into a shouting match. Finally, it escalated into a physically fight where I made his nose bleed and he gave me a black eye and a broken pair of glasses. After that, we decided to be civil. We didn't make up, but we could be around each other again without any problems. When he and his girlfriend broke up messily in the 8th grade, I comforted him and we finally went back to the way things were. To this day, he remains one of my best friends.
