Can someone experienced help me make a price suggestion please?

Hi, I'm looking for a bit of help as per the title. Yesterday I bought a clean burning flames Honcho's Headgear for the equivalent value of 305 keys. It's currently priced on backpack.tf as being 156 keys so you can see this is quite a difference. I think I'm allowed to price the hat off my single purchase alone since the majority of the burning Honcho's and burning sales or current trades are duped and about 1 clean one sells per year.

What's the best way to go about suggesting a price for this thing?

My payment for it was a clean sunbeams Honcho's Headgear - currently valued at 108 keys but I paid 120 pure for it last week, a clean purple confetti killer's kabuto which is priced as 36 keys but I paid 35 pure for last week and 150 pure keys.

Thanks.

I don't consider me vastly or abnormally overpaying for this burning Honcho. Clean ones are genuinely so rare that this is what it took to obtain it. There's about 3 of them in inactive 200-300 day last log in accounts, one in a private account that wouldn't accept my friend request, about 6 or something duped ones, the one I bought and one which is owned by an active player who I messaged and offered this same offer and he declined it,  so very slim pickings with only really 3 in current active circulation.

300 keys is pretty much the kind of value/range I was expecting to pay to get one, bringing it in line with other solder hats like the kabuto, lucky shot, tyrants helm etc.

Go to your inventory history and post a screenshot of the trade, so that you can avoid what just happened below:

What I see here is Beams Honcho (108) + G Fetti Kabuto (36) + 52 pure.

That equates to 196. You said you paid the equivalent of 305?

I don't know if it cuts off the amount of keys traded or something but I'm on the trade history and I gave the guy those 2 hats and about 50 or more lines of keys. I haven't even got a quarter of the way down the list and it's showing more than 50

Few screen shots to make then im afraid. Without the confirmation of what you paid, others like me would only see what it shows in the comparisons and price based on what I found. You have premium as well I see so it would be worth checking all other instances of the hat to find the clean ones and check their histories to see if they sold recently (within the last 3 months) if they havent then your sale is the only sale and can be priced off of it since it is a year outdated price on the honcho.

The only other one on the market is a dupe so its irrelevant

The seller's backpack, while absolutely useless, does at least capture 140ish keys. I'm inclined to give the buyer the benefit of the doubt, though a screenshot will be necessary to confirm.

I can also confirm there are no other clean sales recently.

108 + 36 + 150 = 294. You can round that and suggest at 300 if you'd like.

Problem here is that it does not show any unusuals so without the proof of unusuals involved we just have all the keys coming in a single trade. It would have been possible for the buyer to sell their own unsuals as QS for keys and then pass the pure amount over for the single trade :/ needs the screenshots in any case

...Except YOU proved the unusuals were involved from the buyer-side compare link

Doesnt my compare link just prove it all left the same day? If the unusuals were quicksold and the keys were then used before they were recorded on the site in the buyers bp then it would look as it does now. Would you not agree?

I'll post a load of screenshots when I get home from work tonight showing all the things I bought for keys and all the stuff I traded for this hat
