MexicanDoge
I am looking to buy a laptop for work and gaming for around £400, I mainly play TF2 and sometimes CS or Minecraft, thing that gets around 50fps on these is good in my opinion, help would be very much appreciated, thanks, as a side note, I know nothing about computers so please be kind :

trikster
novatech.co.uk check those guys, you can choose one or customize the existing ones to meet your price range. Ive got laptop from them, everything (including new games) run smooth and customer service is amazing since they are very small company :3 Buying branded laptops for 400 wont do much benefit to you since laptop will be good overall but with few shitty parts that will bring it down very much. I would say save at least another hundred.
CYB3RBYTE
OP, you should really consider getting a used HP Elitebook. Yes, they are mainly business laptops, but the few that have dedicated graphics cards are surprisingly nice. They can run most games and they're built like tanks.
