What is bp.tf forums unofficial wiki?
The bacpack.tf forums - unofficial wiki is a community-running wiki to record threads and society for new and old members.

How do I register?

Look for the "Create Account" at the top-right corner, click that and type your information in order to register.

Congratulations, now you can create and edit articles.

Deliberate troll pages are going to be edited out or removed.

How can I format my pages??

Read about this and this.

You can also try looking into a list of templates.

Note: Don't put steam links to any pages, it will fuck up the page and give out 403 forbidden.

I'm like 90% sure Angel was already doing something like this.

did you read my previous post.

I did now, don't see how it's more detailed and organized, the archive is as organized as it can get.

Newsletters don't have pages for members and threads, the wiki does.

There really isn't any harm in having another form of documenting the going's on here.

I just feel the newsletter will be more kept up to date, and it's already the place people use the most, this wiki came in far too late to be relevant for a long period of time.

Also, the fact shit like this exist on the forum, makes me not take it very seriously. http://bp-tf-forums-wiki.co.nf/index.php?title=TheVenomWithin

Wikis and newsletters are quite different. Wikis are meant to be information hubs / archives. It may actually not be a bad place to move some of the newsletter's old stories. People view the newsletter for current events and wikis usually aren't well designed for those things. They often take some time to get fully updated, which is fine because that's not their primary objective.

Consider this question - who was heavylord? You can't find information like that in the newsletter. The wiki is perfectly designed for information like that.

If this is a serious thing, this will take a lot more time / effort than the newsletter. It's not going to get very far with 1-2 moderators cleaning it up.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
