What's the idealogical next step for my unusual trading?

So currently I have a Circling Hearts Towering Pillar of hats, and I'm not sure how should I sell it to gain profit or get a new hat. In my mind I've been thinking on getting my hands on a HOUWAR, but what do you guys think? What should I get?

So far you've been pursuing the capitalist model, which only serves to make you richer.  You should switch to communism, sell your hat for keys, and divide those keys evenly among you and your community members.  Mother Russia will be proud.

I made the mistake of buying the hats I wanted and keeping them while I was trading up to get more hats I wanted (essentially lowering my trading capital). Just keep trading up and up and up until you are done trading entirely, then buy the hats you want.
