Mengh.
Well, it depends. Anyone can simply get banned on bp.tf for just asking for it. However, if it's something like phishing, scamming or sharking that he's banned for, then yes. You may be in some serious trouble. Is this the unusual you are referring to? http://backpack.tf/item/1670321832 If so, here's the guy: http://backpack.tf/u/76561198072147319
Aethrozᴷᴹᴳᴸ
Well its always a good practice to check people out. I use backpack profiles to check so you can see everything, since it tracks SR, BP, and has links to OP and bazaar. OP: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198111637432 Banned User: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198072147319 Banned for "Scamming using renamed items" Item Traded: http://backpack.tf/item/1670321832

w0lk
You can report the guy who is trying to bribe you. Also you are safe, not marked on SR and not even banned on Outpost.

Screenshot of trade: http://prntscr.com/7asmsk Our guidelines are very clear: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/29027-guide-for-background-checks/ You should read our and outpost's guidelines carefully. It doesn't meet our specific requirements for a ban, but that user would probably qualify as an obvious alt on outpost, so I wouldn't be surprised if they deemed that enough to get you a 2 week ban. It's hard to say.

funkle
Is no one going to talk about the guy who just tried to blackmail him to get a good deal? That's more fucked up than trading with some retarded scammer...

3.50
that user would probably qualify as an obvious alt on outpost Has games on his steam acct, has been active in TF2 for several months, has been on steam since '12. Doesn't really look like an obvious alt to me, but could be a more subtle sort of alt
Aethrozᴷᴹᴳᴸ
Steps that need to be followed. 1: SAVE the screenshots to your comp so you have them. 2: File a report on the guy who tried to blackmail you. 3: A -Trust on his bp(if it hasn't been done already) WITH screenshots, and links. 4: I think you're alright. Polar didn't smite you. Is no one going to talk about the guy who just tried to blackmail him to get a good deal? That's more fucked up than trading with some retarded scammer... It wasn't included on the original edition of the post.
funkle
I like how he's on your profile now calling it a "fake screenshot" and again threatening to report you. We got a real winner here.
