I can't run Team Fortress 2. Help me!

Hello there.

Lately, I've been trying to run Team Fortress 2, but just when I clicked the "Team Fortress 2" icon at my desktop, Steam said that I wasn't playing any game. I mean, it said I was playing Team Fortress 2 but suddenly that dissapeared.

"Have you tried to uninstall and then install the game?"

Yes, I have. Three times, actually.

Thanks for your time, fellas.

You know I was kidding, right?

Yes, lol. I was too.

I don't know what to tell you, I'm sure you've googled this. Does your computer meet the requirements to run the game?

Oh this happened to me before ^^

Serious Answer

Make sure your video driver is up to date. If it's not, TF2 will automatically close when you open it.

This happened to me, and as soon as I update my video card driver, I ran TF2 like no problem.

Delete your Team Fortress 2 Folder in your steam files?

Verify Cache?
