Is Brad Pitt/Other mods in contact with Valve?

We all know how Valve released the mann-conomy update, which introduced trading, more hats etc. However I believe that bp.tf is almost entirely responsible for the surge of players turning to trading, making it far easier with recorded prices and the like.

This has no doubt been economically beneficial to Valve, as people will buy more keys from the store, not to mention all the other items. This leads to my question; Is Brad in contact with/paid by Valve to keep bp.tf running? Surely the contributions he has made are enough for at least some payment.

I'm pretty sure going f2p and the recent promotions/updates do way more than bp.tf could ever dream for Valve.

Remember guys, it's easy to fall into a bias because we are all traders, and almost all of us are rich compared to the average player/trader. We dread "pubs" but that's where most of the life of tf2 is. Just people playing a cartoonish fps about guys shooting each other in the desert.

lol no. All it did was make old traders bitter about not being able to trade and profit as easily and the majority of players are still not active traders or even premium by a long shot.

Doesn't make us bitter but it's pretty annoying when new traders think of this site as a bible instead of a guide. Has turned most of us from actual trading to mercing =|

Looking on the bright side it's actually more effective to merc  :D

I don't think any community owner is in Valve's pockets. At one point people thought TF2Shop had to give a % of income to Valve in return that they don't shut us down. Crazy theories.
