Punishment_Fatal
Even the mighty have a hard fall it seems. He wasn't phishing, but was phished it looks like. His account is just being used as a throwaway, or at least it looks like it. And for the love of God delete your comments. He's already been phished, you don't need to rub it in and make it look like he's responsible for the actions.
NecroTed
I just ignore the phishers. Most are just other hijacked accounts or bots, so its sorta useless.
CheeseManfuu
Solution: Trade away your items to a new- completely different- account. (The ones you actually can) And then never accept a freaking link AT ALL or fall victum "Hey, the server shows your password in stars ***** see?" troll. Never. Ever. TF2 is free. So it shouldn't be hard to move your items to another account and use them.
UnderWolf
I don't think some of the people replying here understand what happened. I am the person who got hacked, that is my tf2 account. I am working on not only getting my account back, but getting that person busted. All I ask is that you will share the video once it is posted, and spread the name of the hacker (or atleast the account that the hacker is using to hold all his items.) HusKy
You seem to not understand that the phisher used already hacked account to take your items.
UnderWolf
That is a possibility but I've been looking into it and I highly doubt it. Why does the hijacked account still have all his friends? Did he not send links? Is he amazing at impersonating the previous owner? Are they literally like exactly the same? Why would the hacker play with the hackee's friends? Why would he spend so much time trading and trying to make profit on that account with stolen items when it's just a throw away account? Why are the most expensive items still their then if it is a throw away account? I just see too much against that theory, sorry.
Professional Map Painter
You seem to not understand that the phisher used already hacked account to take your items. Whilst that is likely, his inventory isn't private and it looks like nothing has been taken from his inventory.
UnderWolf
I just did even more research, he has recently been posting funny photos of him with his TF2 hats, and interacting with his friends. Hell, some of the photos are of him with his friends. Why the hell would people befriend a person who hacked their actual friends account? How would the hacker even know how to talk like the person that got hacked? Plus what if the person that got hacked used a mic or shared some stuff about his personal life with his friends? HOW WOULD THEY NOT NOTICE! There is just too much pointing to it. He has to be the one doing it, or the one that's involved with it the most. UnderWolf
And with even more research he's writing reviews on games, and is active in like 40+ groups! He even owns 82 games FOR CHRIST SAKES HE'S PURCHASED MULTIPLE GAMES WITHIN THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS, AFTER THE TIME I ESTIMATED HE STARTED PHISHING WITH THE PREVIOUS ITEM HISTORY IN HIS TF2 BACKPACK! WHY IN THE FLYING FUCK WOULD A HACKER BUY MULTIPLE VIDEOGAMES FOR A THROW AWAY HACKED ACCOUNT? Sorry, I flipped shit a bit there, but seriously, why? HusKy
Why are you using grey font on white background? His account is not used for hijacking but rather as a mule to move the items. "Why does the hijacked account still have all his friends?" Why shouldn't he? I did not remove my friend after I got a phishing link from him as I knew he just got hacked. "Did he not send links?" If it's a mule account, then he probably did not. And maybe he did. It's not relevant. "Why the hell would people befriend a person who hacked their actual friends account?" They were friends before it happened? "How would the hacker even know how to talk like the person that got hacked?" What? It seems like he got hacked less than 12 hours ago, the account was used as a storage and the hacker went afk/asleep...

UnderWolf
Because I like grey :3. The symptoms of it being stolen are radically different. If your theory is correct then in the days to come we will see if you are right. I highly doubt that his account has been stolen, the history of his items in his backpack haven't changed at all within the past 12 hours, so he has had the items he has in there already for quite some time. If he was a mule account that has been recently hijacked then his backpacks value should have fluctuated dramatically within the time period but it hasn't at all. I honestly just don't see enough proof of that theory.

That's also fine and probably true (in most cases, this not being one of them.) This didn't happen recently, I stated why above. I also explained this farther above. His outpost trades have been bumped/created in the past hour alone, and they are actually not any different than his trades from months ago. I also understand that he is premium, and has auto bumps but he has created new trades recently. Something I'm sure a bot can't do. Once again, as nice as the theory is I don't believe it's true. HusKy
Something I'm sure a bot can't do. Mule account would be controlled manually, not by a bot. And I'm out of here, you will see in a couple days that he got hijacked just like everyone else. Also, the only person who can help you is the one sitting behind Steam support help desk. This will get you nowhere.
=NickFury=
You realize that that Lucek guy most likely just bought the unusual? Someone has to view a backpack to make an owner show up in the history. Phishers don't do that, that's why they commonly don't show up in the history of most phished hats at all and that's, more importantly, why you can't run around making wild accusations based on an item's history. I fully understand that you're pissed for what happened to you, and that you want to see something done, but the current owner is probably just guilty of buying a phished hat, nothing more or less. Unless you know for sure, you really shouldn't try to start a witchhunt and just ask people to help you find out. Anything else is just slander and counter-productive to seeing anything done. ...and btw, grey on white lacks contrast, which makes the text less legible. It's basic courtesy to not make your posts deliberately harder to read.
UnderWolf
I don't try to make it harder to read. Anywho, he didn't just buy the unusual. I know this because every single item from my inventory that went missing also went to his backpack. That would be one HELL of a coincidence, and that he immediately started trying to sell ALL of it? Nope. I'm not really "pissed" I am agitated but not really that mad. I recently came back to playing tf2 after inactivity, so it doesn't bother me as much as it could have. I have more than enough proof that points to him. I am currently uploading the video now and will be posting it on here.

Also UnderWolf, you can see exactly where your items went in your trade history: http://steamcommunity.com/my/inventoryhistory Stop using backpack histories, it's NOT accurate. UnderWolf
I'm using backpack.tf history because I don't have access to my secondary account (the TF2 one) From what I know you need the account in order to view the history. If I am wrong I thank you and will also use that history.

What did you think the phishers do with all the stuff they get that isn't an unusual?
UnderWolf
I'm done discussing if he is guilty or not. I feel that he is guilty and that I have collected enough evidence of it. If you don't agree with me then you don't.
