emilights.com Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Bad Buyers, They (threaten to or) report, when = - seller not selling the item they see in seller inventory (not advertised). - seller not selling the item at backpack price. - seller not selling the item they want at cheaper price than backpack. - Advertised item was just sold. - etc. My story : I got 3 strange equalizers (2 normal, 1 with part), ran the ads (intentionally to sell one). A guy http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198071155160 added and asked me to accept trade offer. He offered for 2 of the normal equalizer, and I saw another buyer was actually faster than him and offered for 1 of the normals. Just ignore and move on. 99.99% sure he didn't reported you or did anything, just a bit upset that he didn't get what he wanted. I do know that i got that trade warning box once or twice (when people trading with you are warned with those box, popping out twice every trade). And it's not fun answering many why, when, how, etc from those traded with me. there are more people like this as you believe. just ignore them, theyre not worth the time. I know, but ignoring them ? I know some noobs out there give in and give cheaper price, my friends did (and got reported anyways), sell the item they originally don't want to sell. So the sword effects: I learnt that this kind of un-ethical trading methods won't do you harms, only got personally blocked on steam (which is quite helpful because you won't waste time fooling the same trader twice). ... sad but true Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
