When did it happen for you?

Or had you paid in the first place?

Mine was the summer of '12 when I paid about 80$ for keys on the store.

;_; My moneh... However I uncrated my first (and only) unusual at this time.

My initial reaction was literally: "Oh cool a hat."

Then I realized it was of some value since a lot of people traded me to buy it.

Never gave it up however, it has too much sentimental value. c:

Was never F2P.

I did get a Guest Pass before purchasing the game though, and the three days were mostly spent learning how the weapons functioned and getting the new achievement weapons.

I bought the game back in 2008.

I shudder to think of how many keys I've bought since the store opened, but I have yet to obtain a single unusual.

I had known about tf2 but wasn't old enough to get a good cpu to play it.

I bought it in 2010. However, my computer (at the time) couldn't handle tf2. So around July last year, I got a gaming computer. So the first thing I did was play tf2.
