boomerandzapper
When you hover over items in your backpack you can see when you got the item and who you got it from.

HusKy
Afaik, this cannot be determined accurately. False data would only lead to more confusion.

You can but that would mean bp.tf would have to scan everyone's bp like every day and create a log... Isnt too practical for such a gimmick feature imo

Betasecret
Maybe this: "First appeared in backpack on: 20/03/2014".

Slocumruls
I thought they do that only when the users logs into bp.tf? This is mostly how the history currently works if not the only way.

Isnt too practical for such a gimmick feature imo Doesn't matter how many times you scan backpacks. What if some item goes through 10 different private backpacks? BP.TF history pages are just for reference and cannot be taken 100% accurate.

HusKy
maybe "Last Known User" then Isn't that already available in the trade history?
Brad Pitt
Hmm, no. I won't load the item history of every single item in a backpack just to show who the last known owner is. That would destroy the database server. If you're curious, open the item history page.
