Item "Date Acquired" and "Acquired From"

Afaik, this cannot be determined accurately. False data would only lead to more confusion.

You can but that would mean bp.tf would have to scan everyone's bp like every day and create a log...

 

Isnt too practical for such a gimmick feature imo

Don't they already do that? You can see item history and backpack history.

This is mostly how the history currently works if not the only way.

Doesn't matter how many times you scan backpacks. What if some item goes through 10 different private backpacks? BP.TF history pages are just for reference and cannot be taken 100% accurate.

Hmm, no. I won't load the item history of every single item in a backpack just to show who the last known owner is. That would destroy the database server. If you're curious, open the item history page. :)
