Is there any way to get push notifications for trade requests?

I have legitimately lost out on hundreds of keys of profit over the years because I don't live my life with the steam app open.

Go the Steam app>Menu>Settings>Push Notifications and then enable notifications for receiving trade offers. I use IOS so I'm not sure if it's different for Android devices

Yeah, I'm an android user and that's what I have enabled.

holy shit notifications for the whole app were off. I'm brilliant

The notifications are shoddy for me even with them on, sometimes I don’t receive anything.

usually they work for me, but sometimes they're delayed. probably would work better if you make the steam app exempt from any battery optimization features of your phone.
