Thoughts on Deadlock?

Invite codes are being given out more and more frequently, with 114,848 currently in-game as I'm writing this. I tried it and it's not too bad, was wondering everyone's opinion on it if they have tried it out yet :0

If anyone is having a tough time falling asleep I would highly recommend this game, it should knock you out in no time from how boring it is

probably the best moba I've played but that's not saying much.

Tried it with some mates. They seem to love it, I thought it was plain boring to play. Seems like a fun game for the right audience.

I am way too dumb for these newfangled games. It will take awhile before I have the slightest idea what to do.

 

Also, my match seemed to drag on too long. 20 or 25 minutes is my limit.

upgrade system is good, like mvm but thats it, so many stats and its not really a big deal just keep shooting bad guys and then get to the point and then idk something like that

 

there was 6 people in queue for pve and 0 for pvp, so those numbers are outta the ass

 

valve brownnosers are saying its amazing and not to listen but its deffo a snoozefest and theyre sucking up badly

 

confusing for everyone, a guy with loads of time on a team i was on still didnt know what to do and just said "idk just do this n shoot ig" so its just another pathetic cashgrab, tutorials were so cringy i couldnt be assed

 

EVERY SINGLE THING needs to be commented on by a cringe cliche character, that electrician robot dude (i thought id like and relate to) is just a bloody cad bane from starwars ripoff, even sounding almost like him and having the same hat

also the powerline thing is just ripped from sunset overwatch, actually the WHOLE GAME IS the way its so goofy and cringe, at least sunset overdrive knew that

 

final verdict: a game so bad not even i would defend with my classic terrible opinions not even if they payed me, 2/10 because shooting was satisfying and i didnt die every 5 seconds but what i did whilst i WAS alive was boring

Got 40 hours in it so far, its been a blast. steep learning curve, mainly due to it being a MOBA first and a hero shooter second. I personally hate top down mobas, so this a great option if you prefer over the shoulder. A lot of the original Risk of Rain 2 developers are working on it so I'm sure by release its going to be a smash hit.

It's one of the best new games I've played in a while. I didn't really like league or Dota 2, but this game is actually really fun!

Those who have less than 5 hours played I don't think can properly appreciate the game, there is a steep learning curve so I think people like Awesomesause don't like it because "I'm not good straight away this game sucks!!"

This game seems to have a lot of action in it, I'm confused on Flaim's experience, maybe it's a region thing, because I don't think in any way this game can be super boring, the farming aspect is something I am not used to, but once I learnt that and the correct builds and skill trees it was really fun! 

Sure it has some optimisation issues, but the community is really great, the game is really fun and it's only getting better throughout development and I'm glad the seal has been lifted so we can talk about it now. I am surprised to see ever since the seal got lifted that I had an average of 2-3 friends in the game per day, now it's up to 15+ at once, so it seems everyone is really enjoying it.

I do not like mobas. However this is sth actually good. I played with my friends and they have lots of experience with other mobas so I was always the last. I had like 2/10 stats and yet I still enjoyed it somehow. I would say you should at least give it a try but for me it's a yes.

Maybe I just haven't played enough to find the meta combination of characters, power ups and items, but from my little time spent with the game, the TTK is what kills it. It takes ages and ages to kill someone, even the ones that aren't using any crazy mobility powers to dodge your shots.

Really? You really need to utilise the shop's items, you can kill people the minute you spawn into a game and go into a lane, some are worse at the start, some are more tanky, but I found myself having constant 1v1's from the match I played today, and each fight doesn't last too long, either one of you get low enough and A) die or b ) retreat but retreating is dependant on your stamina, abilities and if they have slowing bullets which most do run.
