[Price Check] Unusual Taunt: The Homerunner's Hobby *Elemental Effect*

Hey folks!

 

I decided to open a few of the new Summer 2024 Cosmetic cases for fun and I got a taunt unusualifier for the Homerunner’s Hobby. I’m curious as to what this item is worth, but I can’t find anything at all identical to it. It also turns red on RED and blue on BLU in-game.

 

I have no idea if this effect is even considered desirable, so it’d be neat to know. Thanks in advance!

Hard to say, wheatley looks to have bought one for 4 keys https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198259528152#!/compare/1722124800/1722211200 (then resold it for ??, 2 keys match)

But there is also a marketplace.tf sale for $39.99 (23 keys)

 

Realistically it's somewhere inbetween that. I'd guess 10 keys but it's hard to say for certain, I mean you can try list for 20 and see what you get if you're not in a rush

I think ~10 keys would be a very reasonable valuation using the supportive data thus far. I particularly like how well the unusual effect seems to pair with the taunt itself. It also gives me more of a reason to play (and improve) as Scout while I wait and watch it on the market.
