Option to disable spell buy orders

Like bruh i wana see the actual buy orders not the stupid flood of "buying spelled variant" slop on the first page of the item.

Yeah I've always disliked seeing those spell buy orders. Having the exclusion option as shown above really helps.

I collect spells but even I want them to come back so these buy orders aren't fucking flooded every time, even with the hide spell buy order plugin you sometimes have to go like 2 or 3 pages in just to see normal buy orders

Some people prefer to use the old Backpack.tf design as well, don't forget that

It's an incorrect opinion though

imo old bp was way harder to learn than new bp
Sure there's the bias of already having knowledge of a lot of the small things you need to do to get what you want out of the old interface but I find the new one is much easier

The new interface is so ugly and not-user friendly, I've tried to use it and I occasionally do for collectors db and the fact that new effects/items dont work well on premium on the old one but its not great, so hard to read too.

I have not seen one person try to elaborate on this. And until someone does I'll continue believing it's a skill issue case of people being unwilling to adapt.

When you search up a hat you have to search up specific effects for it 1 at a time e.g. if you want to compare scorching to burning or GE to PE you gotta go back to the search bar and type it all out again is the main one for me. I think the landing page is way too busy too which is the hard to read point.

 

Having to toggle craftable and tradeable to set buy orders is also completely ridiculous lol

First point - you can either set the quality filter to unusual or you can go into the particle filter and just tick the effects you care about. Unless you're talking about premium search in which case I wouldn't know because I've never had premium
Second point - Only thing it shows additional is the alerts box which seems pretty easy to ignore

Third point - Valid, defaulting to not tradable makes zero sense, and defaulting to craftable makes a lot more sense

Considering on old you still have to go to the unique item page -> expand effects -> find the effects you want (without images), I would consider this either a neutral change or an upgrade.

it's the specific interface, everything just looks too ugly, things are way too big and in your face usually, colours are hard to read (even changed to all diff themes etc). Maybe its just me, but I've tried to use it and it just looks so bad.
