I got something very exciting

The only Strange Cool Sweet Dreams Stickybomb Launcher in existence. Probably paid too much but it seemed too cool to miss so Ive bought it. Going to enjoy it for a little while before I sell it but wanted to ask for any opinions on what it might fetch.

Full spec is: Strange cool festivized pro ks sweet dreams sticky bomb launcher (ww)

https://backpack.tf/item/4438139828

Ive found there are only 2 strange unusual sweet dreams sticky bomb launchers, one isotope and this one. The one I just bought the owner held for the last 5 years.

Also tempted to buy a pro ks kit with team shine to put on it so the killstreaker matches on blue.

Overall thoughts? I have absolutely no idea but I just didn't want to miss it

as much as i dont dabble much with warpaints, it seems like an amazing find and purchase, most likely 1:1 to the end of time, good shit!
if ur gonna keep for a while, the prof killstreak would go well, but overall, hope u dont main demo because of this

Mate, you paid money for something you do not know the value of. Either you have a good understanding of what it is worth or you are irresponsible

overall thoughts? reselling this for your (eventual) asking price will be quite a challenge, this is about as niche as items get.

it’s a COOL old skin but WW has it looking very beat up

I think you know what it’s worth, you had a price in mind when you bought it anyway.

When I read threads like this I can't help but feel slightly miffed over the concept of buying a weapon and "enjoying it for a little while" with the end goal of selling it already in mind  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am aware it is worth something, I have done a lot of trading over the last few years but I am far from well versed in warpaints. I bought it because instinctively it felt like a good purchase

I enjoy tf2 items but never keep them forever I have no interest in taking my tf2 items to the grave bar a handful

Appreciate the insight. Want to say though that this is not true, bought because I thought it was a cool item and the price just felt right to go for it but dont think it really matters. I asked in a few other places too that were much more helpful than this thread at giving me a rough guide but it is just a high listing price to take offers 🙄

Also just to clear up what is probably a misconception I did not specifically seek this user out on premium or whatever, Item was recently listed on classifieds for anyone to offer on and they said If I could beat their past offer they'd sell it so rather than ask around for help before and get it sniped off me I went for it and it seems my gut was right it was a good purchase based on a fair few salty reactions.

Im not sure if this was a good purchase if you are looking to make profit. You paid 330 keys which is a hefty sum for something that will more than likely sit in your inventory for months. It is too niche to say for certain if it would ever resell for what you paid.

We are not salty. We just criticized your request for a price check. It felt more like advertisement.

Its a fair enough take, glad to have your actual insight even if it is wrapped up in a bit of a cynical take on my motives.

If anyone else wants a hand pricing EXTREMELY niche and rare items that they're genuinely a bit unsure on id recommend the guys in the backpack.tf discord. They will try to help and wont flame you for asking

imo it’s more about how niche this items market is. he’s paid the top dollar so far (beat prev best offer) so finding interest in paying more for a strange WW skin is gonna be difficult. nobody wanted to pay more than him, that says something.
