FixTF2 - Will a Summer 2024 Update Fix TF2?

Time to FixTF2. We're on the road to June 3. Time to do what I was meant to do to Save TF2: Russellpost 

 

This is day 2 of 7.

 

So the Summer time is coming up so that means a Summer Update. What type of things should we expect for this coming Summer Update? New Weapons? New Cosmetics? New Maps?

Last year's summer update was alright actually. I hope Valve can top it.

I expect more Unusual Patriot Peaks will be unboxed. Ignore the ten cases in my backpack :]

 

but also more cosmetics, effects, maps, the quota for a summer update. I just hope that they're decent.

However we will probably get a new game all together and i think thats the most likely outcome of this game we all love

Eric himself said in an interview that it won’t be as big as the 2023 update, so probably the same junk updates we got for smismass and scream fortress this year. Most like no new game modes, shit maps, hopefully warpaints as the workshop has been putting out some good stuff recently, and seeing the success of the 2023 warpaint case. After halloween and smismass my hope is dim for effects and cosmetics. Summer 2023 is a solid case, but this year is probably going to be shitty effects, trash cosmetics. Don’t get your hopes up high.

Hmm that does make sense, Fish. Then if that's the case I wouldn't mind scrapping our date. It's been 7 years since we had a real update.like Jungle Inferno. Not the Summer, Halloween and Smissmas Updates, because those don't count. Those are cash grabs. I'm sure we're all frustrated with how Valve is treating our game. I'm down to do #FixTF2 Protest for the long run. ^^
