So, I basically give up on tf2, Trading,Playing. Only thing that got me going was mvming, But, Servers are shit, Been waiting for an Hour and still havent found a server.

I thought

So many people play League, I should just cash out and buy a fuck ton of champions

I have no experience with any MOBA games, Pls

Is this a good idea or a bad idea

Why not play DOTA instead? There's not a bad trading community.

Stupid idea, at least play the gosh darn game first.

Done with trading

dude Just play dota all champeons are free, don't waste your money on a "shit" game like league of legends, buy something else with the money that will actually be usefull for you

Just play dota. You don't have to trade with that game. You can always just sell whatever you get onto the steam marketplace and buy other games on steam with that. That could be considered as a plus if you don't wanna trade. I honestly think it's a stupid idea to charge for heroes to play as in LoL. In Dota, they are all available from the start.

Bad Idea, the servers were just bugging out today. I had the same problem, they'll be back in no time.

Sell your stuff for money

Maybe buy a cheeseburger with it?

I've played 300+ Hours of League of Legends...  I'm not here to bash on Dota, as I've never played it, but I don't get how everyone else is saying "Dota is better" and "League is shit."

Honestly, League of Legends is a lot easier to understand. The tutorials walk you through the champions, the items, and everything else. I've tried watching Dota, and had absolutely zero ideas on what was going on. League textures are also a lot brighter than Dota, but that's just preference.

Yeah, champions are all free in Dota, but technically they are free in League, too. You earn the in-game currency by playing the game, and then you can buy the champions with it. Plus, each week there are ten different champions (two for each role in a standard game) that are free to play. I can't say much about the Dota variations, but League has a Classic mode, a spin-off, ARAM mode (All random all mid) and a 3v3 mode. Recently they have also been adding modes for temporary play like 5v5 where each team plays the same champ, 1v1 and 2v2, and the most recent one was 6v6. There are also constant updates to the game made in the PBE (Public Beta Environment) to help balance the game out, updates made to the actual client itself, and champions/skins/artwork released pretty consistently.

The one thing I could say about League is that its community can be pretty toxic, which is scary at times. Don't quit the game just because some asshat blames a loss on you for dying once, it's more than likely that he is the real problem.

So you have played Dota

But, seriously, the worst part about Dota is all the Russians and Spanish-speaking players. It clearly gives you an option to choose a preferred language and server location, yet so many Russians and Spanish players are so fucking inconsiderate they just scream in their own language (and of course don't understand english).

I spent two hours watching Dota on Twitch at 1am in the morning.

The language barriers are the one reason I don't play on the EU servers in League.

I agree. I barely played a single MOBA game, but LoL was easy to grasp and understand, but communities in MOBA games are toxic.

You know you're gonna have a bad time when a guy says "F*ck you, I'm playing my role, go f*ck yourself" within the first three seconds of champion select.
