Bots sending phishing links as "gifts" be careful!

Bot owner says they got hacked. Probably shouldn't trade with the bot at all rn.

its obviously self-hosted, cave wouldn't let this happen he surely learned his lesson

 

it seems like the hacker also gained access to the dev tools on the bot, or maybe the source code (first is more likely) as it sent out what i assume automatic messages to the phishing link.

it's amazing that phishing scams still exist. Who in the world is still dumb enough to fall for it?

A lot of people: doesn't matter if the trap is considered extremely dumb or stupid to someone who knows; it will work eventually.

they're more to catch people who aren't reading/watching closely (i.e. just rushing through their trades and such)

I finally got the account back. It was indeed hacked and the hacker got a hold of my main account and my bot account. Thankfully I got both back updated the passwords and Steam Guard.
