what are the other ways of advertising or trading your unusuals aside from joining servers, posting in bazaar.tf or adding random people to offer on?

like i need to enhance my trading career i only got 66 keys in 2 work weeks with just bazaar and adding people and negotiating with them, im curious how high tier traders profit 100 keys in like 1 week or one day like woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomp sheeeesh.

I also wanna thank the tf2 trading community, because it really helped me to buy my new phone, buy groceries for my family, and most importantly help pay bills in the house.

i dont have a job for now - _ - im just a normal 17 yr old boy who wants to help my family.

Well to profit with big numbers, you also have to deal with big numbers!

66 keys in your time is still a fairly job well done. But like I said, high tier traders profit 100 keys because their backpacks are 5000+ keys. Well done ^^

Print out sheets of paper showing what you've got for sale and staple them to random telephone posts around your city

Never and I mean never look to start trading for money gain. You're doing it for a fantastic cause but you're playing hard when you could be playing smart. (A job)

can very well be a job, and can pay a shit ton more than a job if done right - same thing with csgo, good traders there can make 10-20k per month

I saw your other post, if you're 17 and just need some spending money, just get a part time job somewhere, don't get me wrong, trading is great, but do it for fun, not to make money

Yee, I have a weekly job and even then I only spend money on food when I go out, and I like trading just for funny virtual hat with png effect around it

I'm impressed by people who make money outta it tho

at 17 you likely dont even have a high school diploma and if you are in a developing country whatever available may pay lower than what you earn

66 keys in two weeks is impressive in 2023 with strategies from the 2010s, depending on the capital I would recommend a bot, I have one I spend 0 time on and with like $3000 invested it can make around 100 keys a month without issues, probably more if you spend some more time with it, way better buck for your time than "regular" trading. Significant start-up costs is to consider though but as I said depending on capital it can make a nice income on the side with almost 0 work :)

Bro don't apologise at all, we're just saying it's probably not worth it unless you're rich in game but if youre currently stable-y trading for money and it's working then good on you!

Starting trading on and off as a 13 y.o. boy and now I'm 24 y.o. man who plays from time to time. This really helped me grasp concepts for investing in stocks, options, crypto, and the like.

Just give your best and have fun!

i would highly reccomend using scm; although its hard to take the funds out efficiently but you can have a lot of fun long time. eg when new unusuals drop you can make a buy order for them and maybe you would get a nice unusual someone quick sells. mannco is also good place to buy stuff since its like steam community market but it doesnt have that much traffic so less sales however because of this also the difference between buy orders and sell orders are very big margin. some things to consider.
