This is how it went. Dray: Can i ask you something? JayCie <dMp>: ? JayCie <dMp>: yes? Dray: did you report me to anything else besides steam rep? JayCie <dMp>: I will JayCie <dMp>: if something is not done JayCie <dMp>: I have all the evidence JayCie <dMp>: screenshotted everything Dray: but you havent yet? JayCie <dMp>: no JayCie <dMp>: I wanted to talk it out JayCie <dMp>: reasonably first Dray: Well, I thank you for giving me a chance. JayCie <dMp>: just in case a situation like this would have arisen JayCie <dMp>: no problem JayCie <dMp>: I hate scammers, but I try to think of everyone as innocent until proven guilty JayCie <dMp>: unfortunately, it's either you, or your friend that's guilty here. JayCie <dMp>: to think that I was scammed out of my first and only unusual too Dray: Can i tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? Dray: I dont want to make things worse JayCie <dMp>: won't tell a soul Dray: First off, i did scam you. JayCie <dMp>: at least you're being honest about it. I respect that. Dray: Im not trying to justify what I did but I want to tell the story JayCie <dMp>: continue Dray: Im sort of going through a little bit of depression right now JayCie <dMp>: okay? Dray: and I really wanted a max's head Dray: And tf2 was my only source of happiness JayCie <dMp>: so you were going to steal other people's hard work to get yourself there. JayCie <dMp>: I don't think I can trust you on this one, but continue JayCie <dMp>: but if you did, sorry for your loss Dray: I traded it for a craft #47 lil snaggle tooth Dray: thinking I could trade it to another guy Dray: who said he was buying it for 3 buds Dray: he wasnt Dray: anyway, its not really reportable to steamrep JayCie <dMp>: so, you went on the vatican city unusual trade server and decided to steal another's hard earned unusual. JayCie <dMp>: good choice... Dray: yes. Dray: well no Dray: not good choice. Dray: Honestly I felt terrible after I did it. Dray: Being completely honest. JayCie <dMp>: is there any way I can get recompensation for this Dray: yes. Dray: So after I did this Dray: I made a new alt. Dray: a fresh one with no ban history Dray: its name is Honest Dave Dray: and what I planned to do Dray: is trade from a weapon to an unusual Dray: through honest trading JayCie <dMp>: ok? so? Personally I think he's either bsing or just stupid, or both. 2 months is ridiculously long to wait for someone trading up to an unusual. FoX_SuShi♫ Posted March 5, 2014 Share Posted March 5, 2014 Personally, I believe this guy might be just lying to you just so that he/she can get that dream item or sell that dream item for real money. I mean, if you have him/her on your Steam friends' list, then I suggest you regularly check up on the progress to see where he/she is at. I mean, 2 months, it's possible that it's taking forever for this person to sell all that random stuff or that he might be running away with whatever you've gave him/her to start building up. Overall, give the guy/girl a chance, maybe a month or so, and if you see no progress what-so-ever, report him/her, but that's just me speaking.
