How much do strange parts and pro KSs add to weapons?

Hello, I'm looking to sell a lot of the cool shit I have in my inventory, but I'm having trouble coming up with prices for them. I'm an old head and until now I've always assumed that parts add half their value to the weapon, but things change. I've never known how KSs change price as well, so I'm coming here to try to fill the hole in my knowledge of the subject.

Thanks in advance.

Value really depends on the weapon, killstreaker, sheen, and what strange parts it has applied (does it "fit" the weapon?). Weapons like the iron bomber, rocket launcher, and sniper rifle can fetch a ton with a good combination of parts, killstreaker, and sheen. The best money-making killstreakers though would be either fire horns or tornado with the sheens: team shine, villainous violet, or hot rod. If the killstreak doesn't match any one of those, it probably won't add that much (if anything) in value (hypno-beam, for example). In terms of parts, the best universal part is damage dealt or a part that really fits the weapon like a sniper rifle with headshot kills. For value, I'd check if another seller has an item with similar parts and go off of that.

I personally wouldn't only rely on the "halving the price of the strange part to add onto the items value" thing because a crappy part will just make your item harder to sell. However, it could be a good gauge on what the value of the item should be based on the parts.

I'd look at the classifieds and see what price works.

To add to what's already been said, avoid parts that are worth <1 key unapplied, because usually people won't pay much more for those and they usually sit for months before anyone buys it
