Rare War Paint Stickers

Yo! I recently picked up a minimal wear Misfortunate war paint, and it happens to have the special yellow duck sticker.

I've heard that it's rare, but nothing about just how rare it is, so just in case; Would I be shooting myself in the foot by consuming this war paint?

Yes, you would be shooting yourself in the foot by consuming the war paint, but not because of the pattern. The war paint depreciates in value the moment it gets applied, if you're looking to sell there is absolutely no reason for you to do so.

I was intending on using it, but the weapon I want the most doesn't have a sticker on it. 

My thought process was that if this pattern added value, then maybe I could sell it and have enough to buy a FN one instead.

A FN And a MW doesn't have much of a difference, if you're planning to sell it don't apply it but if you want to keep it just equip it. Your choice in the end and whichever you're most happy with.
