Confused about sudden price drop on a certain item

I'm a trading noob when it comes to TF2 and this website so that probably explains why I'm not understanding this. Basically, a few days ago an unusual Green energy Company Man was getting buy orders for around ~95 keys IIRC, but now it's only getting buy orders for~65 keys? What caused this sudden price drop? Could anybody explain this for me?

The last approved price suggestion for the unusual green energy company man was 4 months ago for ~105 keys. But now it's ~65?

buyorders =/= price, if you compare it to an sister effect purple energy https://backpack.tf/stats/Unusual/Company Man/Tradable/Craftable/10 you'll see that 95k buy orders were inflated, auto cutting scripts go brrrrrr https://gladiator.tf/listings/622a9ea0ea0ec281dc6875c3 or as usual itrem95 was inflating buyers?

Yeah so it looks like on March 13th the buy orders went from 85k to 31k suddenly. Then later a bot made a buy order for 65k and it stayed there. So why exactly does this happen?

Does the price usually go back up?

1. The bots are low on keys and temporarily lower their buy order prices.
2. Someone/Some people artificially inflated the bot buy orders in order to dump a specific item(s) to someone else and proceeded to drop the buy orders after dumping.

Most reliable way to find an item price is to check its recent sales. Buy orders have been manipulated for over 2 years and nothing is going to be done about them.

Bots keep overcutting each other until their prices get to a maximum. Then the buy orders disappear or get lowered. Aaaaand repeat.

Honestly if they use over cutting scripts, well they are kinda asking to be abused.

There's also people that directly use bots they own to make artificial buy orders.
