Problems with connecting the server

He everybody!

I am an old player(sold my backpack for cash like 7 years ago ~couple houwars worth)

Now I am back with new account, and willing to put some money in trading and collecting.

As I got it correctly there is only one server left (for unusual traiding and most importantly, communication) firepowered. I tried to connect and received message disconnected : client disconnected (something like this) I was never banned earlier, in addition it’s just a new created account (forgot the mail and pass of the previous account for this 7 years).

If you have any ideas what I can do, it will help me a lot, I also faced this problem with another US trade server. If you d like to share any other servers I would be very thankful. I would like to join the party ASAP)

Would be happy to speak with some old traders about the current market situation. Can share some goodies if you wish)

Best!

Valve removed the ability to have custom disconnect messages. Yours is going to be because of a private inventory; it must be public to join. They also have a minimum inventory value requirement but I don't believe that's automated. IIRC it's like 10 keys or an unusual.

The advent of accessible trade bots has largely made normal trade servers obsolete since low tier trading is also practically obsolete. Vatican and FP are the two major unusual trade servers if you actually want to talk to people, otherwise backpack.tf classifieds and bazaar are pretty much the major places to advertise selling items, and also scrap.tf auctions - however that locks your item to the auction and you pretty much have to commit to not accepting other offers on it while it's in the auction.

everything changed, I wouldnt advise trying to jump in with so many keys at once. But bp forums have some reliable key sellers.

I am planing to purchase some old hats like TC tossle with old good effects, why it is risky in your opinion? By the way I was not able to find people who sell keys keys for cash on backpack or bazar (only several people who are buying everything for real meney or Bitcoin) may be you can recommend me something. Thanks a lot for your answer!

https://www.marketplace.tf

https://www.mannco.store

These two are the main websites people use nowadays to do cash trading, you can buy keys from either if you'd like.

If you want safety you can use what nimbus said, but they are both about 35c more per key so that's a large amount when you're buying 1500.

Old effects took a dive after the unlocked crates came out, TC might be fine because it's not in the pool and can only be unusual from the old crates still. Here's a guide with the full list of what's not in those new crates: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731640447

Personal opinion: it sounds like EOTL and Robo effects are beginning to get recognition and price hiked like old Halloweens were, despite still being unboxable. Ofc old Halloweens are still going up but 1500 keys isn't gonna get you much. Same applies to miscs.

The real play is to buy up all the <10c crimson cache cases and resell for 15c during next hween.

Thanks man, this is about as informative as it gets.

Personally, I've always been wary of Halloween effects, I don't think they can become classic. I never understood why people show interest in them, they look worse than classic ones and it's hard to appreciate the value.

It's the uniqueness. People want items where they don't need to worry about another new one appearing and challenging the value of what they have. It's so much easier to set the price of an item when you have 100% of the world's supply.
