Items with grades in their name

I've recently noticed there are quite a few cosmetics with item grades in their name, and some tell the truth while others lie!

 

The Commando Elite hat for Heavy has two different item grades in the name, while the item grade for the hat itself isn't either of them.

 

The Millennial Mercenary for Scout has Mercenary in its name, however it's an Assassin grade.

 

The opposite is true for the Assassin's Attire, which has Assassin in the name while it's a Mercenary grade.

 

And finally, the last one I could find is also the only one that matches. It's the Mediterranean Mercenary with a Mercenary item grade.

 

This reminds me a lot of the Vintage Vintage Merryweather/Tyrolean as their qualities rest in their names too.

Time to ask Valve to change the items' name

I wish Valve picked a better item quality name than "Elite" for the final grade, they could have done a more TF2 related name for that, maybe another Saxton Hale reference.
