crazypro1170
So, I have a non tradeable killstreak candy cane. As in it will never be tradeable. If I used it in creation of a kit, would the weapon I apply it to also be non-tradeable forever?
Scott Bakula
Yes. When a non-tradeable item is used as an ingredient, the result will be non-tradeable as well.

Would you be left with an un-tradeable weapon?

Not clarifying for you, but in case anyone else sees this and gets confused, untradeable appliable items (paints, name/description tags) do not make the item they're applied to untradeable. Furthermore, killstreak kits crafted with robot parts recently purchased from the SCM, items that have such kits applied to them, weapons decorated with recently-purchased war paints, items strangified with recently-purchased strangifiers or festivized with festivizers – they will all become tradeable once the original 7-day restriction has elapsed. They don't get bugged or anything, don't worry. I tested it myself Again, this is just in case anyone stumbles upon this thread, and worries their Smissmas tags will ruin their weapons or something like that (Smissmass Sweater weapons remain untradeable), and gets concerned.
