Sydney Sleeper Rework Concept

If Valve wanted to make the Sydney Sleeper less of a body shot rifle and more of a support rifle this is how they could do it.

Make it do 100 damage at full charge
Make it charge 20% faster
At full charge jarate effect lasts 7 seconds
At 0% charge no jarate effect
A 50%+ charged shot can extinguish team mate

7 seconds of jarate at 20% faster charging speed seems very strong to me

The faster charge speed is not what I see as strong.The 7 secounds of jarate +100dmg on full charged hit is what seems unbalanced to me .

Rn it has a 25% faster charge and it last for 5 seconds

I think they just need to add the extinguish feature. That's pretty sweet and the sleeper needs a small buff anyways

The Sleeper is a weapon to make trader main snipers think they are contributing to the team, change my mind.

Unless they changed it back scoped shots have been able to extinguish teammates since the meet your match update in 2016

I don't think it needs a change. It's in a weird limbo where its main gimmick is busted good but it just plain can't OHKO all the classes. A pick your poison kinda thing, I guess.

I’m going to go with Norah; I think the Piss Rifle is fine where it is. It’s like the Scorch Shot; it’s less of a pain and more of a minor inconvenience. And to be honest, I don’t even remember the last time I saw someone use it.
