databeats
Good afternoon everyone! I have returned to TF2 after many years and I'm having a blast again. However, I'd like to treat myself to a few cool TF2 items; rather than use the marketplace, I'd like to have more flexibility with in game currency with the Mann Store Co Keys. What would everyone recommend here as the safest way to purchase keys from the TF2 community? (I noticed there was a cs.deals website for fairly affordable keys starting at ~$2.00 but I am unsure of its reputation)
Mr365truck
marketplace.tf is always a decent place use code uncle to get a free key per 10 (buy 10 get 1 free) cs.deals is trustworthy, and can sometimes be cheaper (theres 6 keys for $1.68 rn) but theres a tax for converting between currencies, if you use something other than euros. databeats
Thanks truck! I also was an idiot and didn't notice we had a subforum too for person to person trading too here: https://forums.backpack.tf/forum/27-team-fortress-2-cash-trading/ I will check that forum out and your other suggestions. Thanks for letting me know about a tax possibly, as I am using USD.
Buddy
cs.deals, marketplace.tf is a ripoff
Retardus_Maximus
mannco.store usually has sellers around 1.70 -1.80 USD
Mr365truck
If you do the math it’s sometimes cheaper and mannco.store is just a no no site. They aren’t afraid to doxx people.

lucco51
Just used cs.deals got 6 keys @ $1.68 each, which for me (UK) is £1.19 !!! I have used Mann co store a hell of alot, never had an issue, ever, only use them for keys and mvm tickets, just dont use edge when buying from them, it can create issues - stick to firefox
og_Gotti
Buff.163 if you can manage to set up your account since you can get keys regularly for under 1.70USD. Either that or buy with crypto from munchy bot.

I personally use cs.deals the most for buying keys and I've never had any major issue (aside from balance not updating right away sometimes)

Commited offence? Worst case scenario he was using the site for storage As for buying stuff there's no issues (usually), but I tried to get them to remove my account and they straight up told me to delete my steam first and then ask again, so I can't say i recommend their site. CS deals is alright but i've seen multiple reports of scammed items being sold there, personally i like to use the cash trading subforum, there's plenty of reputable sellers, kafuka, bluejay and halogamer are some I've traded with in the past, they take paypal so that's a large plus. Like I said do the math.
Kosmo
marketplace.tf, while expensive, is the safest way to purchase keys at the moment, at least in my own personal opinion they've just been a good site to get items from in general. i'd probably use it all the time if i wasn't as broke as hell and they still had the seller program up (though i think that's the reason a majority of people left the site)
