louisclub Posted April 17, 2021 Share Posted April 17, 2021 these keys got transformed into regular keys in 2013 or something. backpack can check the item ID of the key and remember that it used to be a nice winter key 2012, but for any practical purpose today they are identical to regular keys. if you check the key in your tf2 inventory in-game, it will look and act like a regular key. because it is. I have similar keys from another crate, autumn 2012 or somthing like that, that ive been holding since 2012. today they worth about 1.3 to 2 keys each. but that if you find a buyer, most of people dont care for that since when you are in the actual game, there is no way to tell. some guy offered 1.5 keys for each autumn 2012 key i had, i refused the offer. Any way to price check? The one you link is the festive key, its more desirable because its "festive" and there are people collecting festives. How to price check? the value of an item is usually dictated by previous sales amongst other things, when both buyers and sellers agree. since this item is rare and sales are almost non-existent, its hard to price it precisely. It seems there is only one person interested in buying those keys, the guy who have a buying order on it currently. I talked to him and he wont pay more than 1.3 keys for them.
