I do not particularly one scrap change, but I don't see what is wrong, as long as plenty of evidence.

 

In grimdercell's case, not that much evidence, but I think he wanted to get rid of the 1.11, he proved it with what he could.

Yes, he is very annoying. Keeps repwhoring. I dont mind scrap changes if proof is very overwhelming, tons of people selling cheaper and are unsold for example

I see many tryharding and making useless suggestions, trying to find trades desperately outside of current range (which is just fine). Providing few outliners and then trying to bring price down. It's too easy to bring a price down on bp.tf. Many have selective proof. It disturbs me that most of time these suggestions pass.

I occasionally make 1 scrap changes, I'm sorry. But they are sometimes needed, some of them were just made because a certain item wasn't quite a flat price at the time but has changed to them. The more accurate a price is on backpack.tf, the less complaining people tend to do about the site itself. 

 

While some are for sure not needed (like many of xTH3RM4Lx's), they are not all just for rep.

Obviously I'm not talking about keys. Those would be the exception. And we can't just stop accepting them because they are "accurate". 

 

I remember how the prices used to be 0.11, 0.22, 0.33, 0.33-0.66, 0.66, 0.66-1, and so on. No 0.22-0.55 or weird ranges like that.

 

Also, it's easy to post proof for, let's say, 0.33-0.44, then 2 days later for 0.33-0.55 because you avoided the 0.55 links on the 0.44 suggestion. I've seen it happen before and it's annoying.

We have enough suggestions to work with as it is. And as I said above, some people do the 0.33 to 033-0.44 to 0.33-0.55 and so on. I'm saying "avoid" it. I gave a clear example of why I said it with the link I posted.
