stoutman245
What kind of card? prepaid? debit/credit? If it's your first time using marketplace, they are going to want to make sure it's not stolen. The first time I added my debit card to purchase stuff I had to A, provide documentation (i.e. drivers license, power bill) that matched the name on my card, and B, verify the two charges made to my bank account statement. Now that the seller program is shut down, they might have eased up on some of their restrictions but don't quote me on that. If you go here, you'll see a FAQ of their verification process: https://marketplace.tf/account#cards Hope I was of some help
stoutman245
*correction: "Note: The below applies only to cards that do not support 3D Secure. The vast majority of cards support 3D Secure." So perhaps your card doesn't have this feature installed on it

stoutman245
Ah ok well I'm sure they'll have you verify two charges to it (I've used prepaid cards before on steam and they made me do the same thing)
