Question about Trade ups

If I use one of those non-tradable/marketable Smissmas Warpaints as part of a Stat Clock, would that make it and any weapon I put it on Non-tradable/marketable?

Fairly sure the stat clock and weapon that the stat clock gets used on will both be untradeable

Yes. If you use an untradeable item as an ingredient, the result will be just as untradeable as the item used.

to my knowledge, you can't even DO that, because you can only craft civilian grade stat clocks using strange civ grade skins

Civilian is the only grade you can't use to make a stat clock

Civilian is the only grade you can't use to make a stat clock

To craft Civilian Grade Stat Clocks you need to use: Strange items or items with a grade above Civilian (Freelance or better).

So you can use Strange Civilian Grade skins to craft a new Civilian Grade Stat Clock since they are Strange. However since the only way to get Strange Civilian Grades is by crafting a Civilian Grade Stat Clock first and then applying it to a Civilian Grade; it is kinda really dumb to go and use that Strange Civilian Grade to craft a new Civilian Grade Stat Clock.
