Mannco.store Keys @ 1.97

Bitskins @ 2.09

Marketplace.tf @ 2.17

Loot.farm @ 2.50

SCM @ 3.17 ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Why aren't people just buying them from these sites and reselling on SCM? Even if you say "Wallet Funds aren't cash", more buyouts are ~80%, especially when in pure, so you're still up.

What am I missing here?

All the people who know nothing about 3rd party cash trading websites are still aware of scm and in many cases probably believe it's the only safe way to buy keys outside of the in-game store.

^Pretty important part here from the seller's side. You can't make money off trading if you can only ever sell keys for steambux, cashing out through a website seems safer to a lot of people than doing a paypal transaction with some mystery person who could very well decide to take the keys and run even if they've built up rep.

Some of those above listed prices don't include all the fees that come with buying from those websites on top of the listed price.

Steam wallet funds arent 1:1 cash value, they are a tokenized version of funds and arent equivalent to a real dollar

Also keys arent $3.17 on SCM, they're ~$2.40

You would get only $2.02 Steam funds for your key, which is not great considering their real world value is currently around $1.80-1.85

Here's a video that better explains Cash prices vs. Steam prices.

It's a CSGO video but most of the information will end up carrying over
