A dumb idea

and if you craft it, you are guaranteed from 1 to 1.66 ref hat

It costs 3 ref to craft a hat, ref gone random hat in

It costs 3 ref to craft ref+, ref gone ref+ in

ref+ is always worth 3 ref as the only way to craft it is with 3 ref

ref+ is considered just another pure item and it would make no difference whatsoever

haha toxic forums in a nutshell. No where did the user complain about the price of refined metal and it would be a good idea to have a better storage system like the storage containers in csgo. Ever been a f2p with 50 bp slots? Ever wanted to keep a lot of refined after selling a couple of keys? Halloween????

what

To trade for a key right now, you require more than an entire page of refined to afford one. That's hilariously inefficient. The point of this 'refined+' is just a new denomination.

Let's say for example the US dollar didn't come in any physical form higher than a single dollar bill. You go to a shop to buy a Playstation 5 (pretending they're actually in stock lol), priced at $499 USD. Do you want to be carrying around 499x dollar bills or 5x 100 dollar bills to pay for it? Does the person at the checkout really want to count 499 dollar bills? No.
Does average joe low tier trader want to count out 60+ refined to buy his first key from a bot? Not really.

The point of this new type of metal is not to create something that costs 3 ref to make and is somehow worth 5 ref - it's just to simplify trading for the little guy and save people from needing to use a handful of backpack expanders to get anywhere.
