G'day/Night everyone.

It's a question mostly to bow owners/creators but i'd also like to know everyone's else opinion. I'd like to ask if Bot.tf trading bots are worth purchasing in 2020, since i was thinking of buying one and your opinions would certainly help me with this decision. Have a good one! There's two interpretations of what you might be asking so will try to answer both.

In terms of whether a trading bot is still worth the investment (either money for subscription services or time to setup yourself), yep. As long as you know what you're doing, even if that's just copying what other bots do and quickbuying and quickselling items, then that should still net you a profit. Depending on how much you invest into it, it'll definitely help with giving you a greater absolute return to pay off your costings and then some as long as you stay competitive through managing the bot and finding good markets to enter into.

For if a Bot.tf bot specifically is worth purchasing, this probably will get mixed answers and differs from person to person. There have been other solutions that have popped up that you can review and consider that you might find to be a better alternative to Bot.tf in terms of costs and features.

Self-Managed (you manage configuration yourself)

https://github.com/Nicklason/tf2-automatic - Discord and info here.

https://github.com/idinium96/tf2autobot - Discord and info here.

Serverless (no need to worry about configuring a server)

https://gladiator.tf - Discord and info here.

automated.tf soon

How much do they cost?

Sorry for the late reply.

Currently TF2autobot and TF2automatic do not require any costs, besides maybe a new steam account and server costs, but that depends on your own acts.

As for bot.tf, they cost 7 keys for pre-ordering I am afraid;

For Gladiator.tf we have 2 different tiers, for "basic": you will be charged 4 keys per month or 8$ (USD) per month and for "premium", which includes auto-pricing, you will be charged 10 keys per month or 16$ (USD) per month.
