How can i see an item full price timeline more than two years?

If i go on any item stats page on backpack tf, the timeline for that item that shows -exits- and -price-, the timeline only goes 2 years back, even tho backpack has exist for like 8 years. Is there a way to increase the timeline duration to see further than 2 years ago?

Tbh I have no idea if that goes before 2 years, but maybe you can go to the price suggestions page for that item?

 

You can see accepted price suggestions ever since the item existed

Your luck will vary on specific items but if it has enough price suggestions to be a pain to look through then it will probably have an archive page.

Why won't backpack just allow users to see more than 2 years on the timeline *thinking emoji*

I assume backpack have the information for more than 2 years because the "timeline" starts exactly 2 years ago, for example today is october 9th 2020, the earliest i can go is october 9th 2017 (okay I realize now it is three years timeline, but still backpack has been running since 2013 or so).

 

I want to be able to see trends in price fluctuations for certain items, like we can see in the community market. I guess its blocked at 3 years on backpack...

Generally your best bet is to just look at the price suggestion history. Most items will have them
