I've seen it on tons of items, particularly halloween cosmetics, and not exactly rare ones. Things you can still find on scm or mp for a few to 20 dollars. I believe its caused by no-one selling, or a bunch of people selling at exorbitant prices and bots following in their tracks to try and "undercut" them. I could be wrong, but maybe thats why.
